Penny is a true old-fashioned Irish Draught mare, a real leg in each corner, masses of bone and the type that is becoming harder and harder to find. A serious weight carrier with a beautiful kind temperament to match.
She has been with a lovely family since being a yearling, however she simply grew far bigger than expected, and now she is ready to go and find her forever person.
Penny has the most stunning flatwork in all three paces and is working beautifully on the flat. She is quality enough to go on and do affiliated British Dressage. She will also make an absolutely stunning maxi cob prospect. She has a willing attitude to work and always tries to please.
A genuine all-rounder, Penny happily pops a set of fences, hacks alone and in company, is good in traffic and would love beach rides, farm rides and general fun adventures. She is the type that would happily turn her hoof to anything and would love somebody to make her their best friend. Someone wanting to go and do clinics and camps would adore her.
On the ground she is an absolute sweetheart to handle. Good to clip, great to have her feet done, and happily lives in or out. She really is a kind, genuine mare who is a pleasure to have on the yard.
Was left to mature until 5 years old and was then professionally broken. All her history is known.
