We will be very sad to see this horse leave our yard as we have all had so much fun with him this season.
H is a true proven hunt horse. He will go on to give someone the best days hunting they will ever have! He will also go on to be a cracking event horse as so bold, brave, with natural rhythm and most importantly the best attitude you could ask for. H has a great loose canter and really covers the ground.
He’s whipped in a handful of times and always excellent with the hounds. Hunted with The Wynnstay, The Barlow, The Cheshire Forest and The Readyfield. He’s also been for a jump about with the Cross Country Chasers.
We have borrowed him to friends numerous times to hunt as he is so reliable, they have always absolutely loved him and had the best days hunting on him. Numerous references available.
An experienced hunter over all terrain, he will always get himself out of a tricky trappy situation and has coped extremely well with the heavy going all season.
He has hunted by all sizes, lightweight small ladies to 6’6ft tall men!
Since the hunt season finished H has started schooling on the flat and jumping around coloured fences. He’s a very fast learner with a huge heart and a lot of natural un-tapped talent.
He will go this season and event BE and will easily start moving up the grades with good results, with the correct education.
H did the loose horse catching at The Wynnstay Hunt Scurry Race where he again proved himself to be a total star standing in a field while horses galloped off in the opposite direction.
He hacks alone & in company going first or last. Has seen all types of traffic and isn’t phased. He doesn’t get silly cantering in open spaces and will happily go first or last.
He is a very special horse and we would love to find him the finest of postcodes.
