Reggie has showjumped BSJA to 1.10m with masses of scope and has been schooled around BE Intermediate fences without batting an eyelid. He’s incredibly versatile —
✅ would he event? Yes, he would make a very smart eventer.
✅ Would he do pure dressage? Absolutely.
✅ Would he jump a bigger track? 100% he has a lot more jump to offer.
✅ Would he hack down a 70mph road with non-stop traffic? Without hesitation!
This boy really will turn his hoof to anything you ask. He’s bold, brave, and full of ability — the sort that can give someone a serious leg up the levels. He has never stopped with us and has never had a pole. He is very careful and competitive.
Now, there is a but — Reggie needs a competent, sympathetic rider as he is hot. He’s sensitive and appreciates quiet, confident riding. In the right hands, he will give you absolutely everything. If you’re too hard on him he will go against the leg and buck. If you get on with him you won’t find a more genuine horse. His price reflects his sassy character not his quality and he would be 5 times the amount if he wasn’t a sassy pants.
A lovely, genuine horse with a huge heart who adores attention. He’s an angel to have around the yard and is like a big dog — the kids lead him to the field, muck him out, bath him, and fuss him endlessly.
